Principal Dentist: Dr. Robby Sehmi BDS, B.Sc, B.A

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Sehmi earned his degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Toronto (1998). After completing his degree, Dr. Sehmi moved to Dublin, Ireland where he received top honours and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science. Following graduation, Dr. Sehmi worked in a multi-disciplinary private practice where he was mentored in Endodontics and Complex Restorative treatments. In 2005, Dr. Sehmi relocated to Australia and continued to practice privately, focusing on cosmetic and total rehabilitative dentistry.

Dr. Sehmi is dedicated to providing the best possible care for all his patients and prides himself on detail, precision and perfection. His caring disposition and exemplary communication skills have earned him the respect of his patients, staff and colleagues. Much of his education has been dedicated to every aspect of patient care and comfort with a unique focus to help fearful patients overcome their anxiety so they can receive the treatment they need.

Apart from family and dentistry, Dr. Sehmi is a fitness enthusiast who also enjoys hiking, biking, resistance training and golf. His other passions include art and design.

Dentist: Dr David Bassal BDS

Dr. David Bassal trained on the Gold Coast graduating with distinction, he has since moved back to his hometown of Sydney to be with his family in 2010. David says that joining the Finesse Dental team has provided a wonderful atmosphere that has assisted him in facilitating his keen focus on full mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Bassal adopts a holistic approach to dentistry combining function and aesthetics with cutting edge methods and materials to provide the best possible outcome for his patients every time.  His caring demeanour and gentle approach means he has been able to form a strong rapport with clients – providing for an all-round exceptional dental experience.  David enjoys the outdoors including swimming, resistance training and soccer.
