FINESSE DENTAL AMENDED PROCEDURES FOR APPOINTMENTS DURING COVID-19 PHASE

Dear Valued Client,

At Finesse Dental, we are currently providing all dental appointments, however, we are taking all necessary covid-19 precautions to ensure your and our staff’s safety.

Before you attend your appointment with us, we have a number of additional safety protocols in place. During this time, we ask you to attend your appointment 10 minutes earlier to complete a COVID pre-treatment questionnaire.

To ensure your safety, we have implemented the following changes in clinic:

  • Face masks must be worn by all customers and all staff
  • Temperature checks as you enter the clinic
  • Please attend your appointment alone, unless you are accompanying a minor
  • Hand sanitizer at reception and in each treatment room for all clients
  • Medical-grade disinfectant to wipe down all surfaces and equipment between every client
  • Thorough daily cleaning of all high touch areas with high grade disinfectant, including reception surfaces, door handles, and treatment areas.

For further questions we can be contacted at [email protected] or (02) 8806 0790

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Due to the recent Covid-19 restrictions, there have been changes to how we operate at Finesse Dental. We are currently seeing all patients for dental treatment.

In doing so, we are very mindful of the risks associated and therefore have had to introduce new measures and protocols to address your immediate concerns, all whilst maintaining the Covid-19 social distancing requirements imposed by health authorities.

Listed below are our efforts to enable us to help you, our team and our community stay safe.

  • During the COVID 19 pandemic dentists have done a great job screening patients and ensuring the oral health needs of those needing emergency dental treatment have been addressed throughout the crisis.
  • Now with the AHPPC and the Federal Cabinet giving dentists the green light to scale their level of treatments back to level 1, it opens up a much wider range of treatments dentists can do and means the oral health needs of all our symptom-free, healthy patients can be met.
  • So what does Level 1 mean for patients?
  • Level 1 restrictions basically mean dentists will be systematically and meticulously screening all their patients for signs of coronavirus. At Finesse Dental we will be getting a signed declaration from patients, plus temperature checking on arrival. If you are unwell we are unable to treat you.
  • Those without any symptoms should be able to receive any treatment, even those treatments which require the tools that generate aerosols like scaling and cleaning and drilling.
  • So only patients with symptoms of the illness will not be able to be treated, including those with even the mildest of symptoms such as a light cold.
  • We’re expecting this level of screening of patients to go on for many months to come.
  • Patients should be reassured that our dental practice is as safe as it has always been and it’s perfectly safe to return to Finesse Dental – Dr Robby Sehmi and his team are used to operating with the highest levels of infection control – that’s how they work normally too.
  • We are now seeing ALL patients. (patients who are displaying cold or flu like symptoms will be deferred until they have been cleared of COVID19)
  • The person visiting for their appointment must not be accompanied by anyone. Only children may be accompanied by one Adult.
  • We have invested in enhanced protective gear for all our staff such that there is reduced risk of any transmission between the patient and our team.
  • All our staff have recently accomplished voluntary self-isolation.
We have installed clear screens, hand sanitiser, temperature check at our reception desk, to enable us to follow social distancing rules whilst you visit us.
  • We have invested in New Equipment, so that in addition to our strict infection control protocols, we can now enhance the sterilisation of the surgery rooms and its environment, after each patient visit!
We are currently open to discussing your concerns, requests for immediate/future appointments or feedback via phone ((02) 8806 0790) or online booking or email ([email protected]), Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm.

We appreciate your understanding. Together we can make this work safely within the imposed regulations. We want you to know that you will always be a priority for Finesse Dental as we are here to help.

Stay safe.
